This means you did your job, they liked your site, and are coming back because there is a sort of trust that was built. Here are some things you can do to make this happen:

1) Forums are a great place to start

I am not sure what it is about forums, but they become addicting. People want to see what is being said, so they keep coming back to check it out. What a great way to have returning visitors to your website.

2) Blogs are another way

Keep an online journal, or more commonly known as a blog, on your site and keep it updated with latest news about yourself. Human beings are curious creatures and they will keep their eyes glued to the monitor if you post fresh news frequently. You will also build up your credibility as you are proving to them that there is also a real life person behind the website.

3) Carry out polls or surveys

Polls can serve 2 purposes. For starters, if you post a pretty decent poll, people will keep coming back to see what is going on and how the vote is going. The other thing you can do is use your poll to get content from your customers and then use this to optimize your site a bit better.

4) Oh How I Love Games

Games are pretty big online. Now, you don't have to have the best games. You can just have some simple games office people can play when they are supposed to be working. Maybe even offer some prizes for top scores. Might be another good way to collect some names and emails.

5) Update frequently with fresh content

Have you ever showed up to a site, and nothing has been changed. You immediately leave thinking either the site is old and outdated, or it has been abandoned. Don't let this happen to your site. Ensure you are always updating your site with good now content. This, along with the other items above, are good ways to get your visitors to come back again.
