If you live in one of the major cities you can also find wholesale suppliers through visiting tradeshows. What can also work is calling suppliers from the phone book or business directories. Many people find this quite intimidating at first so if you are easily intimidated maybe an initial email or postal contact to break the ice first is best. Don't forget if calling suppliers out of the country you are in, to consider possible language barriers and how they might be overcome.
Don't forget as your business relationships develop with wholesalers you may find they offer you better deals than at first. Like everything in business as the trust by both parties builds so will the opportunities for greater profits.
