Google's latest advertising program, AdSense, has been making waves in the online marketing industry. What is it really and how do we make effective use of it? When you have AdSense on your website, you are displaying ads from Google. And when a viewer of yours decides to click and view those ads, you will make money. That's the gist of it.

The ease and temptation of this handy money-generating program tempts the public to run these ads of their sites. However, don't get too excited yet. Because without the proper tools, content, and loads of motivation and determination, you'll find out that your profit won't equal the costs you've put into it. Or so that's what enough people have said. You won't earn enough on AdSense, they say. However, there are those exceptional people who have managed to make a huge success out of their AdSense and are earning thousands of big bucks everyday! And all of us are left asking, "What's their secret? What did they do to earn that kind of money?"

What's the Big Secret? Nothing! There's no secret at all! These gurus have just a keener understanding of how AdSense functions. And now I'm here to share it with you. If there is a secret to understanding AdSense, it's in the keywords. Yes, keywords. You see, there are keywords that are worth only a few cents when clicked, then there are keywords worth as much as twenty to even thirty dollars. These are considered high-paying keywords and ads containing these keywords are the ones you should get running on your site.

Technically, yes. But remember that you only get paid if people click on the ads. If your website is just stuffed with keywords and the content makes no sense, then people are not going to click on your ads either. That means that you're not going to make any money at all. So you need to make sure your content is relevant to these high-paying AdSense keywords as well. For instance, 'attorney' is a popular keyword that can bring in a lot of money. To make AdSense work best for you, you need to provide good content on attorney information that will encourage the reader to click on the ads.

But remember, getting the content to your website is a very slow process. Options are you could write them yourself, pay for someone to write them, or buy ready-made content and acknowledge the author for his words.
