Let's get started with the basics. So who is Clickbank?

Clickbank is a middle station between affiliates and product sellers, they are an affiliate network. They generally deal with information products and membership sites. No physical products are sold through Clickbank.

As stated on the Clickbank site they have over 100,000 affiliates which is a massive amount. This makes them the largest seller of information products in the world! You can check all of the products that Clickbank sells in the Clickbank marketplace.

Clickbank super affiliates like you and me. Well, I mean... you will be, right? We go to Clickbank because it is like going to Bass Pro shop if you're a fisherman. Products are everywhere and some pay out 75% of the sale of the book. Can you say 'goldmine'?

A clickbank super affiliate is usually considered to be one of the top ten affiliates for a product. However, being a super affiliate is a hard task! Super affiliates generally do more than is required to make the sale.

Let me repeat myself... Clickbank super affiliates do much more than link to a product.

Instead we promote the heck out of it!

Building relationships... getting people to like you... these are the basic tools of the clickbank super affiliate.

Driving massive amounts of targeted traffic to the site will guarantee the sale... Targeted traffic is the key in that last sentence in case you missed it. Tried and true methods work every time. But to beat the competition means you have to stand out in the crowd... but you will, I promise.

How To Find Hot Products

Ride the wave. Find out what is hot on Clickbank and what is already selling well. Don't try to find the one that will be the champ... At least not in the beginning. Look at the sales page. Would you buy?

People don't buy junk!

First of all you need to figure out what niche you want to run with. Try to find something you are interested in and have some knowledge about. This is not a given but makes everything else easier.

Head on over to Clickbank Marketplace.

You should write your niche as the keyword and sort by 'High Gravity'. This will show related products, the ones that convert highest first, the lowest last. You need to find a good product that converts high if you want to make a profit from the traffic you send to the affiliate's site.

$Earned/Sale - This is the amount earned per sale. The bigger the number... the more you earn. This is a good thing.

Future $ - This is how much will be made in the future; this is usually for membership sites or re-bills.

Total $ - This is the average earnings from the initial sales as well as re-bills.

%Earned/Sale - Percentage of the sale price you will earn. This is always between 1% and 75%. My favorites are the 75% ones.

%Referred - This is the percentage of sales that are made by affiliates.

Gravity - This basically shows how popular the product has been recently. Usually the higher this number is the better. Another way to look at it is to think of how many people are promoting this product.

Once you have done your search and you know which products you want to try and sell. Go checkout the website. Would you buy? What hot buttons are they hitting? What emotionally do they want you to feel? This will become important...

Check if they have an affiliate center, as some do. These are great. Some also include email templates, articles with private label rights and promotion banners which can all be used to promote their products. The more free tools you have to promote the product, the better.

Don't just pick a product because it converts well. Go to Google and search the name of the product. How many ads to the right do you see?

It's can be tough to find the right ebook to promote. Case in point: The money making niche. Stay out of it. This is where everybody goes and it is well covered and just spammy if you ask me.

It makes for a better start to go after small niches, like knitting or cross-stitching to name a couple.

It shouldn't be too hard to find a good product to promote if you take the time to dig deep and find something that is going to work well for you. Research is everything when promoting a product and you should do this before spending a dime on advertising.
