If you've been paying attention at all to the news, you've likely noticed that there are lots and lots of things to worry about -- from man made disasters such as the deficit, antibiotic resistant viruses, crumbling housing market, weak dollar, extinction of polar bears, to the acts of nature such as tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes, et cetera. I could go on, but I've decided to make a very conscious decision to nurture the beautiful things in life and positively impact the present.

This is a challenge. A huge challenge because we are pushed on every single front to interact and be motivated by fear and scarcity. I have decided to act as a catalyst for courage, abundance, beauty and strength through the process of self-persuasion and reframing our realities.

This means, my readers, that I am opening up new avenues for exploration. I will always teach and continue to learn and advance the field of persuasion. That will remain a constant in my life. The new venture, though inextricably enmeshed with the field of persuasion (as far as persuasion goes), is going to be a new focus for me in terms of filling the void that we seem to find within us in these trying times. Instead of continuing to accumulate, I will be giving the tools -- both old and new -- to align ourselves with the proper mindset.

Here's what I know about the law of resonance: if you're joyfully happy, upbeat and positive, and say you work with or live with a person who's depressing and negative -- this is the very embodiment of a rock and a hard place. Either the energy of the positive person will begin to sink, the energy of the negative person will start to rise, or a combination of the two will happen until there is a meeting somewhere in the middle. This is all working on an unconscious level.

One of my goals in teaching is to bring things to the forefront -- such as the law of resonance -- pulling it into your consciousness so that the people and events that surround you no longer make you feel as if you're at their mercy. The vibration of everything can be raised. This doesn't happen passively, but very deliberately and with intention.

This isn't to say there won't be moments where you need a little support in life, some fortification, someone to build you up when you have challenges. And I am geared to be that for you. I'm relentless about enriching our lives through pure, unadulterated hope.

If you have the eyes to see them, there are opportunities absolutely everywhere. Even where you don't see them, like when you have a problem or challenge. But the seeds of their solution are within each problem. When we nurture these seeds, we can bring into focus what we want to draw into our lives.

My goal is to teach you to long for the endless immensity of the sea.
